Motorcycle Heaven!

Established back in 1949 by Ben Bennett, Bennett’s has experience which other companies can only dream of. Ben as he was known started the business shortly after leaving the R.A.F in 1949 his first venture was pedal cycles which he sold and repaired, this then developed into motorised scooters and then Motorcycles like BSA & Triumph followed and soon a thriving business was born. In the 1960’s a small unknown company from Japan caught the eye of Ben’s son Paul who then introduced Honda to the family. This partnership continued for over 30yrs with many awards being achieved over three decades. By the late 1990’s “young Russ Bennett” stepped into the fold taking over control at the age of 23. Focused on being different the Benelli & MV Agusta brands became an obsession! His technical knowledge for these brands grew over the years and he was known globally for his work with these iconic Italian brands. The sales of these brands increased with a newfound customer confidence and on two occasion Bennetts has finished in the top 3 dealers in the world with MV Agusta! what an achievement for a small family shop in Yorkshire. Russ still works in the workshop and has passed his knowledge to his team so the core values of Bennett’s will never be forgotten.
